Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Our products are manufactured in a facility certified to ISO 22716:2007, the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices in cosmetics. This ensures consistent quality through controlled production, storage, and distribution procedures.

European Union (EU) & UK Compliance

Responsible Person (RP)
In compliance with EU (Regulation EC No 1223/2009) and UK regulations, we designate an official Responsible Person. They manage product safety, maintain essential documentation (including the Product Information File, or PIF), and serve as the regulatory contact.

CPNP & Product Information File (PIF)

Before any product is marketed in the EU or UK, it's registered via the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP). Each product also has a detailed PIF containing formulation, safety data, manufacturing details, and labeling information. This ensures compliance and permits market access in Europe.

U.S. Regulatory Compliance — FDA

While the U.S. FDA does not pre-approve cosmetics, we ensure each product is safe, accurately labeled, and in full adherence with FDA regulations. This includes proper ingredient disclosure, required labeling elements, and ongoing monitoring for safety.

Under the FDA’s evolving MoCRA (Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act), the person named on the product label—manufacturer, packer, or distributor—serves as the Responsible Person and maintains records such as adverse event reports and product safety documentation.

ECOCERT & COSMOS Certifications

We are proud that a majority of Reijh products are certified under the COSMOS standard by ECOCERT Greenlife. These include:

• COSMOS Natural: Meets stringent natural ingredient guidelines.
  
• COSMOS Organic: Requires high levels of organic content (minimum 95% natural, with 20%–10% organic depending on the product type).
  

These certifications demonstrate our commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly formulations.

Cruelty-Free Promise

Reijh upholds a strict no animal testing policy across all stages of product development—including ingredients. All our cruelty-free claims are verified under ECOCERT standards.
